Neither team had more than 300 yards of total offense and there was 6 sacks and 5 turnovers total between the teams. The Packers led 13-0 at the half but a Mike Alstott touchdown made it a one score game at 13-7. The COVID year NFC Championship game would be played in front of only 7,772 people at Lambeau Field. The Buccaneers had embarrassed the Packers earlier in the year 38-10 in Tampa but the Packers had the number 1 seed in the conference. The game looked like it would go into halftime 14-10 but then Tom Brady hit Scott Miller for a 39 yard touchdown with 1 second to go before half. Starting the second half wasn’t much better as Aaron Jones fumbled the ball and the Buccaneers recovered deep in Packers territory. They turned that into a touchdown as well. and would be up 28-10. The Packers fought back and forced three interceptions but the Packers offense could only turn one of those into a score. The Packers kicked a field goal to get within 5 points with just over two minutes to play. The Buccaneers sealed the win on a controversial pass interference penalty on 3rd and 4 that gave them a first down and could run out the clock.
